Türkiye İstatistik Enstitüsü'nün verilerine göre ülke genelinde 9 milyon 480 bin kişi herhangi bir sosyal güvenlik kurumuna kaydı olmadan çalışıyor. Buna göre Türkiye'de her iki kişiden biri kayıt dışı istihdam ediliyor.
