Katarakt nedir?

Gözümüzün içinde lens adı verilen saydam bir mercek mevcuttur. Bu merceğin saydamlığını kaybetmesine katarakt denir. Lens artık saydam olmadığı için göze gelen görüntü retinaya tam ulaşamaz ve hasta bulanık görür.
